take the A1 highway and exit at Firenze Sud. Then follow the indications to Firenze centro. Once you arrive at the traffic lights, at the end of Lungarno del Tempio, turn right. Drive towards piazza Beccaria, then along viale Antonio Gramsci and viale Giacomo Matteotti, until you reach piazza della Libertà. Take viale Spartaco Lavagnini and then follow viali di Circonvallazione ring-road going around the Fortezza da Basso. After the tunnel going under the railway, take a left turn into Via Guido Monaco. Just after the traffic light you will see the B&B Il Marzocco in front of you, on the right-hand side.
From the north, take the A1 highway and exit at Firenze Nord. Follow the indications to Firenze centro. Once you reach the end of viale Francesco Redi, turn right and then left into via Guido Monaco. Just after the traffic light you will see the B&B Il Marzocco in front of you, on the right-hand side.
By train:
The Santa Maria Novella railway station is about 400 metres away. Walk in via Luigi Alamanni, at the end of the street, the B&B Il Marzocco is between via Fratelli Rosselli and via Guido Monaco.
